King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, underwent a successful surgery to tighten the ligaments around his third vertebra. The surgery was performed at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh yesterday 17 October 2011. Doctors say he is in stable condition and will continue treatment locally.
