A group of students visited some patients in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Ministry of National Guard – Health Affaires, Riyadh on Wednesday, 1st of July 2015. This event was organized by Social Services Department in collaboration with King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC); King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) and Mawhiba - King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.
The students were given an opportunity to visit patients in the Hemodialysis Unit, Surgery Tower, King Abdulaziz Cardiac Center, and Long Term and Extended Care Center in order to raise morale and cheer up the inpatients, Notes with cheer up quotes and thoughts, in addition to gifts were distributed as well.
In addition, this activity aims to promote the spirit of giving and boost youth volunteerism, and visiting the ill today revives the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon.
