Prof. Ibrahim Al Alwan, Vice President, Postgraduate Studies at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs ,and Dr. Alia Zawawi, Director, Postgraduate Training Center, Deanship of Postgraduate Education, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences visited Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Madinah. The visit started with a meeting held with Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director, Medical Services, Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Executive Director, Operations, and Dr. Abdulhadi Tashkandi, Regional Director of Postgraduate Education & Academic Affairs. The meeting reviewed the hospital's achievements in various operational, technical and medical fields. They also discussed the hospital's readiness and preparations for the visit of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for institutional accreditation. His Excellency Prof. Ibrahim Al-Alwan affirmed to provide all required support to Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital in achieving and meeting the standards required for institutional accreditation by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
After the meeting, Prof. Ibrahim Alwan and Dr. Alia Zawawi conducted a field tour around the hospital where a number of hospital departments were visited to check the hospital's preparations and review the institutional accreditation standards for health facilities. At the end of the visit, the hospital administration was thanked for their hospitality and for their efforts in developing and upgrading the health care services provided at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital.
