The Executive Director of Operation at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, National Guard in Al. Madinah; Mr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Askar and the Executive Director of Medical Services at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, National Guard in Al. Madinah; Dr. Turki Al Wasaidi launched the Primary Healthcare’s new expansion building with the presence of Dr. Sumaia Sharief, PHC Director, on Tuesday 25 August 2020.
The expansion of Al Madinah Primary Healthcare & Family Medicine Center is considered among the most important recent projects of PMBAH. The project will contribute to increase the total capacity and quality of the provided healthcare services at the PHC. With 1625 square meters additional space; the project will facilitate providing several Family Medicine’s sub-specialty services in addition to increasing the number of operating clinics. The total number was increased from 8 to 18 Family Medicine clinics including 3 specialized clinics. The specialized clinics include the
following sub-specialties: ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Dermatology,
and Orthopedics clinics.
The ground floor was designed to allocate working areas for the pharmacy, 4 new dental, a radiology room, a store room, a patient relations office, a flu clinic, a lecture hall, a staff lounge, waiting rooms for patients, and two separated male and female waiting rooms. Additionally, the top floor includes 9 fully equipped administrative offices, a dental laboratory, a drugstore, a medical equipment store, a patient’s lounge, and a waiting area which will positively reflect on the diversity and efficiency of the provided services as it will contribute to reducing the numbers of PMBAH’s visitors.
A sterilization room, , 4 waiting rooms, a training room, an exhibition and 4 toilets for the center's facilities, which will facilitate providing many specialized services with the latest technology.
This project to expand Al Madinah Primary Healthcare Center was completely implemented by the technical and operational cadres of PMBAH with self-efficacy, economic and high quality, in line with the highest scientific standards approved in each field, including the construction of new buildings and modifications to the existing buildings and the electrical, health, air conditioning and data network.
