Training and Development Department in King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh in the Ministry of National Guard – Health Guard has commenced the enrollment in the Medical Laboratory Technologist Training Program for the academic year 2015/2016 for Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences or Applied Medical Sciences (Biochemistry or Microbiology) male and female degree-holders. The programs listed are Clinical Biochemistry, Cytology, Microbiology, Toxicology and Immunohematology.
Deadline for registration will be the 23rd of April 2015 and the program will officially start on the 30th of August 2015 and will last 12 months.
Furthermore, some of the MLTTP’s features is that the training will take place in MNGHA’s laboratories - King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh in addition to the possibility of employment in MNGHA’s laboratories after completing the program successfully in the case of a job availability in a relevant section.

Moreover, Mr. Mohammed Al Hogail, Executive Director of Corporate Training and Development, NGHA pointed out that MNGHA has been implementing this program is an extension of its role in community service. Stressing that the Medical Laboratory Technologist Training Program is a part of the Saudi Career Development established in 1998 with 41 trainees in the central region; and extended its application to all MNGHA’s regions reaching 1627 applicants enrolled in various disciplines of Medical Sciences.
Lastly, Mr. Mohammed Al Hogail concluded by emphasizing the importance of training and development or all MNGHA’s employees in order to improve their performance and work quality. Noting that Training and Development Department makes a great effort by presenting several distinct programs, most notably the Saudi Career Development, administrative and technical skills program, in addition to English language programs where the MNGHA is now an accredited center for the TOEFL exam. Mr. Al Hogail extended his appreciation to H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy for his continued support for the Training and Development Department’s activities.
