King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh concluded a two days’ workshop entitled “MERS-Cov Outbreak Management Planning for the Future”, held on the 13 – 14 September 2015 at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences Convention Center.
The workshop discussed the future plans in control and reduce any potential for an outbreak , through investigation and utilizing best practices, in addition to the establishment of additional medical services in line with the high quality standards applicable throughout the MNG-HA.
In conclusion, the workshop carried out important and positive outcomes such as: developing a two phases strategic plan to re-open King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh again in a scientific and elaborated process. Moreover, providing important recommendations to combat epidemics and infectious diseases, giving a lecture on the possibilities redesign of MNG-HA services, and finally, focusing on patient flow, infection and epidemic contaminate and prevention.
