The Saudi Armed Forces Medical Services plans to hold the 40th International Conference on Military Medicine (ICMM) under the auspices of World Congress on Military Medicine at the Hilton Hotel, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the 7th until the 12th of December 2013.
The invitation is open to all workers in health and academic institutions of military and civilian personnel (doctors, technicians, health care providers and administrators) to attend this event and to submit their entries (in Arabic, English or French).
The Conference will present scientific papers and conduct workshops as well as scientific round tables discussions, all of which revolve around the themes of military medicine.
Furthermore, the conference will be accredited with CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), and topics of interest are:
•The role of military medicine in civil disputes and relief operations.
•Emergency and rehabilitation medical care during the combat.
•War-related mental disorders.
•Pre-deployment medical preparations for military personnel.
