
National Guard Health Affairs has completed the preparations for Hajj season this year and is ready to provide full premium health care services to serve the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque in Makkah in order to ensure safety and availability of best services.
The NGHA completed setting up Mina’s field hospital that has been designed from fireproof and heat-resistant fiberglass which accommodates the climatic conditions; the hospital (256 square meters) is equipped with 40 beds plus a number of intensive care beds. Furthermore, Mina’s field hospital encompass the latest medical equipments and all clinical supplies, runs 24/7 and consists of two admission sections: male and female.
Mina’s field hospital includes a number of different specialized clinics, support services, dental clinics, obstetrics and gynecology clinics, a fully equipped minor surgery room, receptions and administrative offices. The integrated support services, on the other hand include a full- service laboratory, X-ray room, a pharmacy and accommodation for workers on an area of (208 square meters). Umbrellas and sunscreens are provided inside the hospital as well as a spare Power generator to be used in emergencies.
