Jordanian Minister of Health Dr. Nayef Al-Fayez and accompanying delegation visited King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh, the National Guard Health Affairs on Wednesday January 16, 2010. The delegation was received by Professor Youssef Abdullah Al Eissa, the Vice President of Educational Affairs and Dean of the College of Medicine, KSAU-HS as well as a number of officials and executives the NGHA. A presentation about the services provided by NGHA was given demonstrating the advancements that its medical centers have accomplished compared to similar medical centers world wide.
The visiting delegation had a tour of KAMC’s facilities including the Emergency Department, Princess Fahda bint Alasi bin Shraim Intensive Care and Burn Unit where they listened to a detailed presentation about the health services provided as well as the advanced and modern capabilities available in these departments.
Dr. Al-Fayez described the national strategic plan for universal health care and integrated services set by the Saudi Ministry of Health as being a pioneering and ambitious strategy characterized by great determination to provide superior health care to the people of Saudi Arabia.
