Dr. Issam Alzimaity Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services at MNG-HA, Western Region, has lunched on Sunday, the 5th of March , 2017 “The 2nd Head and Neck Surgery Conference”. The conference received 200 participants from deferent medical sectors in addition to national and international specialists. The conference aims to train residents on common surgeries and reconstructive surgeries for head and neck in addition to enabling them to apply the complete surgery steps on human organs prepared medically and anatomically for surgery education which are brought from specialized center in USA.
The conference ceremony started with Dr. Hadi Al Hakami, Head of the Conference a speech in which he welcomed the audience to the significant conference that has been hosted by two great institutions; King Abdulaziz Medical City and King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Jeddah with the organization of ENT department that includes the best national and international speakers. The conference is followed by intensive workshops in the field of anatomy lead by the supervision of trainees.
After that, Dr. Yasser Faden, Associate Executive Director of Postgraduate Education, KSAU-HS - Jeddah, delivered a speech explaining that The Head and Neck Surgery Conference will last for five days in the aim of discussing the recent medical discovery in this field by number of distinct speakers. He also stressed that MNG-HA’s officials grant great attention towards enriching the medical thought to keep up and reach the goal.
Moreover, a Visual presentation about Head and Neck Surgery has been presented. Also, Dr. Mohammad Al-Garni, ENT and Head & Neck Oncology Consultant, Head of ENT department delivered a speech welcoming the speakers and participants then listed the topics that will be discussed in the conference that have been selected precisely. After that, Dr. Issam Alzimaity explain the physical and psychological suffering that the patients and his family face direct our attention to the importance of conduct programs and researches that help to reduce Serious diseases. He added that medical awareness play significant role in easing pain at the long term as it is educating the patent family how to live with the patent. MNG-HA works through its prevention, therapeutic and academic programs to achieve unique integration to move the provided services to the highest specialized professional levels. After that, Dr. Alzimaity honored the participants and the speakers.
