NGHA’s Department of Emergency Medicine in King Abdulaziz Medical City, has launched the CPR Interactive Program Campaign and cases that require ER intervention through awareness programs for all society categories, where a specialized team was formed in order to visit both intermediate and high schools of King Abdulaziz Residential City and Prince Bader Residential City as well as NGHA employees in Riyadh city. This campaign will extend until the end of this academic year.
The medical team will cover awareness lectures and seminars during these visits and a number of specialists will cover the practical aspects in front of the students during their morning assembly as well as the distribution of awareness brochures and pamphlets.
The implementation of these programs stems from the keenness of NGHA in spreading awareness amongst the community regarding emergency and how to properly deal with emergency cases in order to save lives of individuals in particular in the community in general.
Furthermore, these awareness programs will last through out this academic year in coordination with the Department of School Health Program and other relevant authorities. These programs, however, are not limited to male students, female schools, public gatherings and employees will be covered as well where the team includes emergency physicians, paramedics and a number of specialists in this field.
