The Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Department celebrated the graduation of the 1st batch of the Training Programs in Laboratory Medical Department Under the auspice of His Excellency – Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, NGHA’s Chief Executive Officer and the President of King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS).
The event was held at Dr. Samir Bin Huraib Large Auditorium on Thursday, 19th of December 2013 for the graduation of 27 graduates in the following training programs:Medical Laboratory Technology Program, Clinical Biochemistry, Cytology, Electronic microscope, the Blood Donor Phlebotomist Training Program and the Phlebotomy Training Program.
Clinical Laboratory Sciences is considered one the most important disciplines in the medical field as the team members are responsible for conducting lab diagnosis using the latest lab techniques; it is one of the diagnostic methods of clinical diagnosis.
Frthermore, the Clinical laboratory specialist profession has a significant role in our lives, as the clinical laboratory specialist will accurately analyze samples, and submit a precise diagnosis for the sample which in turn will help doctors in recognizing the disease then give the patient the right treatment.
