The Training and Development Department in National Guard Health Affairs will start receiving students from different universities and colleges in the annual summer training program next Saturday June 25th, 2011 and it will last for one month until July 20th, 2011.
The Executive Director of Training and Development Mr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Hugail pointed out that the National Guard Health Affairs implemented this program as an extension of their role in community service which aims to achieve a number of objectives such as filling the spare time of students during holidays, providing them with practical experience, helping the students to cope within the work environment.
This program also aims to attract students to be involved in health fields and to offer the opportunity for the National Guard Health Affairs to identify trained staff and qualified workers to work in the NGHA and its facilities after their graduation.
In addition, Al Hugail explained that the annual summer training program has the support of the CEO of the National Guard Health Affairs and President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences Dr. Bandar Al Knawy and it aims to integrate the trainees in a number of health, administrative and technical disciplines in order to provide them with the experience they strive for.
