HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works Dialysis Care Project on Wednesday the 15th of January 2014 at King Faisal Conference Hall in Intercontinental Hotel - Riyadh.
On this note, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz announced the launching and operating of Riyadh’s two branches (north and south) and Jeddah’s branch, amongst a series of dialysis centers which will provide dialysis services for every one in need including Saudis and non-Saudis.
Furthermore, HRH Prince Mitib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, pointed out that the role of National Guard Health Affairs in providing operational and supervisory support stems from its high experience in providing health care services as it is considered one of the best hospitals in the region, so NGHA is keen in supporting such projects in Ministry of National Guard as well as other health sectors and charitable projects.
H.E. Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, CEO - National Guard Health Affairs explained that two dialysis centers in Riyadh city (north and south) are now fully equipped, the first one with a capacity of 1289 chairs and a capacity of 98 chairs in the other; as well as Jeddah’s dialysis center with a capacity of 207 chairs.
After that, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy looked over the technical preparations and equipments in the dialysis centers and finally, he thanked and appreciated the Custodian of the Two Holy for his generous initiative and directive.
