Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs participated booths at Al Janadriyah received huge number of visitors during the National festival for Heritage and Culture - Al Janadriyah in its 31st session.
This year, the participated booths were 19 booths including King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Arabic Health Encyclopedia (KAAHE), King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works Dialysis Care and National Family Safety Program booths received huge number of visitors. The visitors were introduced to information and educational programs presented by KAAHE. They also were interested to know about King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works Dialysis Care services and locations in KSA. While the National Family Safety Program presents several workshops and lectures related to child safety and rights.
Moreover, medication safety booth work to raise awareness about the risk of medications and the proper ways to use it and store it. As for Department of Infection Prevention and Control, they provide seasonal flu vaccinations and necessary instructions.
In addition, Ophthalmology Division received great number of visitors that were interested to go through the examination provided by the division specialist in the booth. Dental Services also provided an examination for children and medical instruction about the oral and dental health
Military Field Medicine present detailed explanation about the presented services. Moreover, Emergency Medicine Department presented the ideal ambulatory methods and the related programs. Cochlear Implant Program distributes brochures to introduce the programs and services they presented.
The Saudi Scientific Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation presents an illustration about the about the Society goals and the methodology that lead to achieving these goals, in addition to the Saudi Stem Cells Donor Registry whose Honorary President is His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard. Moreover, King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) introduce the visitors to an important message which is the important of the scientific research as it is the most important serving method to humanity. In addition, Department of Health Education and Public Relations booths distribute brochures about the services they presents to the society. The National Antivenom and Vaccine Production Center provide the visitors the chance to know the center’s work methods and the importance of poison control and producing vaccine.
Every day, Blood Bank booth at Al Janadriyah receives huge numbers of visitors and blood donors while the specialists behind the booth provide awareness and educational information to the visitors. The MNG-HA at Western Region also participates with Hajj Services booth in which they presents the MNG-HA efforts during Hajj Season. Furthermore, Prevention of Obesity Section participate in this festival by presenting an awareness movies and distributing pamphlets about the risks of obesity and ways to prevent it.
Additionally, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) booth witness an amazing number of visitors who attend the presentation about the academic programs, study plans, images and models for the three academic cities in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Ahsa.
