In line with the developmental phases that aim to provide the finest medical services, H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, launched the Oncology and Hematology Center at King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh was on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016.
The Oncology and Hematology Center provides its services to adults who suffers from blood diseases and cancer, where the 40 outpatient clinic covers all cancer types along with comprehensive health services, in addition to 34 fully equipped chemotherapy chairs
Moreover, the center includes private suites for patients with solid cancers, blood diseases, gynecologic diseases and palliative care. In addition, the radiation therapy in MNG-HA has been developed and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies in line with global standards to ensure an integrated health care quality.
Last but not least, the center devoted a distinctive section to support cancer patients and their families to meet all their requirements relating to the disease, and provide them with the necessary information and details on how to fight this disease. The inauguration ceremony was accompanied by an active participation of charity cancer societies.
