School Dental Prevention Program in cooperation with the residents from College of Dentistry at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences organized oral and dental health campaign at one of Riyadh’s shopping malls for two days. The event was attended by large number of people, as more than 400 children were examined. Also, more than 650 people attended and were impressed with the campaign activities.
Moreover, Head of Dental Department at King Abdulaziz Dental Center and Dean of Dentistry College at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Ahaidab visited the event, thanked the participants and confirmed on the importance of holding such activities for the community awareness.
Also, Director of School Dental Prevention Program, Dr. Abeer Al Sbeit added that such activities that are held in cooperation with the residents create a spirit of volunteering among dentists who are an important part of this community.
Last but not least, gifts were distributed to the visitors which included toothbrushes, toothpastes and awareness brochures.
