Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Al Madinah – MNG-celebrated the “GCC Oral Health Unified Week”. The Dental Department launched several awareness and educational activities targeting various segments of the society aiming to raise medical awareness regarding the importance of oral and dental health.
The awareness campaign, that was launched by the Executive Director of Operations at PMBAH, Dr. Mansour Al Othman and the Deputy Executive Director for Medical Services Prof. Tariq Khashoggi lasted three days., , . On the first day, an awareness exhibition for the oral health was held at the main lobby of the hospital, after that, the staff of the Dental Department presented several educational activities on the second and third day. Moreover, many medical checkups were provided for the visitor of their booth in the campaign that was conducted at Alrashid Mega Mall. The booth attracted a large number of children to watch oral health awareness cartoon movies prepared by the hospital for this event.
On the other hand, Dental Department Director Dr. Raghda Mohammed, highlighted the importance of oral awareness for children in an early age, pointing that the oral health is the main key for the body’s overal health. She also emphasized the necessity of collaborative work to raise awareness on this topic.
