Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) will collaboratively host the upcoming 2015 Orthopedic Trauma Update Conference which will be held from the 3rd till the 5th of November 2015 in the KSAU-HS Convention Center.

Orthopedic Surgery Consultant and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani pointed out that the conference activities will be held in the KSAU-HS Convention Center over the span of 3 days, and it  targets all orthopedic surgeons on all levels, in addition to the rehabilitation and the nursing staff.

He also added that the conference will host a group of distinguished international doctors in the field of orthopedic surgery coming from several well-known international centers, in addition to the participation of a number of renowned local speakers, stressing that the number of registered attendees exceeded 1200 participants.

Moreover, the conference will cover the latest scientific developments while addressing updates in treatments of pelvis and acetabulum, treatments of infections and nonunion along with complex periarticular and periosthetic fractures, in addition to a number of workshop. 

Additionally, King Abdulaziz Medical city -  National Guard is characterized by its long experience in the treatment of complex fractures and pelvic fractures, making it a regional and a national reference in this field, with the internationally recognized surgeons such as Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amari, Dr. Wael Taha and Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani,  as the number of surgical cases taken by KAMC-R can compete with the grand specialized international centers in the field of orthopedic surgeries.

It’s with mentioning that the conference will be accredited with CME Hours CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
