The Training and Development Department at Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital held a training course in health and safety approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) agency which trained more than 22 employees on the latest global information in the field of health and safety.
OSHA’s certificate is internationally recognized in the field of occupational safety and health. It was created by Congress of the United States under the Occupational Safety and Health Act, enforcing standards for workplace safety and health.
It was also established to create a better workplace for all workers and to ensure the safety of everyone by making and enforcing certain standards that are needed to protect the people and raise the quality in many organizations.
Colonel Abdullah Al Sunaidi, Director of the Training and Development in the eastern sector, said that this course was held to maintain the safety and occupational health of its workers, and to ensure a safe working environment for all NGHA employees. Moreover, it seeks to effectively preserve human resources and raise the level of quality by identifying the types of risks and their causes as well as areas of potential risk, and how to avoid these risks. The participants were also granted a certificate recognized by the OSHA agency.
