The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs represented by the
Department of Pathology & Laboratory at
King Abdulaziz Medical City – Riyadh, has participated for the fifth consecutive year in the Arab Heath Conference, which is considered as the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East, held from 26-29 January 2015 at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory participated as one of the major international laboratory facilities in the Middle East aiming to highlight services provided kingdom wide by its state-of-the-art equipments, facilities and highly skilled manpower.
Moreover, promoting the Organization’s educational and training programs in the field of Laboratory Medicine and other Healthcare specialties, through Training and Development or King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS).
Additionally a high quality program of Continuous Medical Education (CME) including workshops and lectures were presented alongside the conference, to the healthcare professionals in the region. Dr. Hanan Balkhy, Executive Director Infection Prevention & Control Program at MNGHA chaired a session entitled “Healthcare associated infections”. Also, Dr. Hashim Hasan Balubaid, Section Head of
Geriatric Medicine at the
Department of Internal Medicine and Assistant Professor, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University, participated in an interactive panel discussion entitled “Cultural and cost implications of launching and sustaining geriatric medical centers”.
It’s worth mentioning that, MNGHA booth gained a lot of positive feedback from multinational visitors, form verity healthcare sectors and fields, during the exhibit, visitors were attracted and impressed with the services and technologies accomplishment.
