The Quality Management in
King Abdulaziz Hospital – Al Ahsa, conducted a survey to measure patient safety culture at the hospital, with the participation of wards and clinics’ staff. The Regional Executive Director of MNGHA, Eastern Region, Dr. Ahmed Al Arfaj said that these studies aim to improve the quality of services provided to the patients.
He explained that this study measures several aspects such as; teamwork, observing stress at work, job satisfaction and leadership in the hospital. Moreover, the patient safety culture is linked closely to patient safety from medical errors, development and education, and staff and patients satisfaction.
