Under the patronage of H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, –the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Department in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) will host the upcoming 2016 Pediatric Orthopedic Update Conference which will be held from the 27th till the 29th of September 2016 in the KSAU-HS Convention Center.
Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Consultant and Chairman of the Organizing Scientific Committee, Dr. Ayman Jawadi pointed out that the conference will cover the latest scientific developments in pediatric orthopedic trauma and fractures, in addition to addressing the latest treatments of pediatric hip surgeries, DDH in particular, which is considered the most common case in our society. Also, the conference will highlight various surgeries for diseases affecting the ankles, feet, spinal malformation and the latest techniques in pediatric orthopedic surgeries.
Dr. A Jawadi also stressed that the number of registered attendees exceeded 1100 participants from different medical majors and specialists in the field of pediatric orthopedic surgery, in addition to the participation of 24 renowned local and international speakers in the field of pediatric orthopedic surgery.
Last but not least, a number of workshops will be presented along the three days, as the latest surgical skills will be discussed under the supervision of elite speakers and surgeons. It’s with mentioning that the conference will be accredited with CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
