On behalf of Dr. Bandar Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Knawy President, KSAU-HS & Chief Executive Officer, MNG-HA, Dr. Saad Al-Muhrej, Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of National Guard-Health Affairs, inaugurated the Scientific and Medical Conference (pediatrics updates). The conference is organized by the Saudi Pediatrics Association in cooperation with Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz National Guard Hospital in Madinah for two days during the period from 3-4 Safar 1441H corresponding to: 2-3 October 2019 at the Oberoi Hotel in Madinah in the presence of a large number of leaders and officials in the governmental sectors of Madinah, MNGHA and Saudi Pediatrics Association.
The opening ceremony started with verses from the Holy Quran, after which the President of the Saudi Pediatrics Association, Dr. Abdullah bin Omair Al-Omair, asserted that the success achieved by the Saudi Pediatrics Association during its scientific and practical journey through its organization of medical events and conferences, would not have been achieved without Allah, glorified and exalted be He first and then last, with the unlimited support received by the health services and sectors from the wise leadership of this country led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect them. Moreover, the sustainable, effective partnership between the association and the various governmental and private health sectors represented in the health affairs of the Ministry of National Guard, and the health directorates of the Ministry of Health, university and private hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom. This contributed to the success of these programs set up by the Association.
This was followed by a speech by the Chairman, Organizing Committee of the Conference and the vice president of the Saudi Pediatrics Association, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Twaim the organizing committee address indicated that this committee is keen to organize this medical conference and other previous conferences and seminars in order to develop the level of health services provided to the children of our livers in all hospitals and medical centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and raising the level of practical and scientific efficiency of doctors specialized in the fields of pediatrics by discussing all medical developments in this field. In his speech, Al-Twaim said that the organizing committee was also keen to present many medical topics and developments in pediatrics locally and internationally for discussion and research in order to benefit all participants and attendees by benefiting from the lectures and workshops included in the scientific program of the conference, which is provided by a selection of fellow consultants and lecturers over These two days of the conference.
Dr. Saad Al-Muhrej, Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of National Guard-Health Affairs, delivered a speech on behalf of the patron of the ceremony, Dr. Bandar Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Qenawi , President, KSAU-HS & Chief Executive Officer, MNG-HA. He praised the constructive and fruitful cooperation between the Saudi Pediatrics Association and the health sectors affiliated to the Ministry of National Guard in all regions of the Kingdom. Which has become a milestone in the joint cooperative work and a bright spot in the process of practical partnership between the various social sectors in the interest of the homeland and the decent citizen, this is what we are all proud of for the great positive results that have been reflected significantly on the level of medical services in our country especially those provided to our children. Al Muhrej stressed that health officials in the Ministry of National Guard are working very hard to support such actions, which rely on the principle of positive and meaningful community partnership to serve the community in all segments and age groups.
At the end of the opening ceremony, Dr. Al-Muhrej and Dr. Al-Omair presented the commemorative plaques and certificates of appreciation to the supporters and participants in the conference. The ceremony concluded with the inauguration of Dr. Al-Muhrej for the medical exhibition accompanying the events, He toured the exhibition halls with the guests and the audience and was briefed on the latest medical devices displayed in the exhibition booths and listened to the exhibitors for a detailed explanation of these devices and their features.
