Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Madinah, represented by Pharmaceutical Care Services Department celebrated the “International Pharmacists' Day on Wednesday 25th September 2019, under the patronage of Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Executive Director, Operations and in the presence of Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director, Medical Services, Prof. Tariq Khashoggi, Deputy Executive Director, Medical Services, Dr. Sahal Khoshhal, Director of Pharmaceutical Care Services in addition to a number of departments directors and sections heads in the hospital. This day aims to raise awareness of the services provided by all sections in Pharmaceutical Care Services Department and highlight the role of pharmacists in improving health care.
The International Pharmacists' Day activities were held at the hospital outpatient entrance and visited by a large number of patients, visitors and employees. Different health advices, brochures and flyers were provided by the awareness exhibition, which included ten different sections of Pharmaceutical Care Services Department to introduce their role, tasks and services delivered to patients in the field of pharmaceutical care. Logistics Services Department participated in this event as a guest of honor.
At the end of the event, three valuable awards were awarded to the participants in the exhibition and the ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo.
