Represented by Nursing Services Department; Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulziz hospital launched the Day Care Unit for adults and pediatrics on Thursday the 12th of December 2019.
As Mr. Zaid Alzubi, Acting Associate Executive Director, Nursing Services clarified the goal of establishing the daily care unit is to provide the necessary medical services for patients who do not require hospitalization which is expected to relief patients and vacate more bad capacity for hospitalization. The number of beds in the adults unit is 6 beds and 4 in the pediatrics section.
The unit was inaugurated by Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Executive Director of Operations, and Dr. Walid Al-Yafi, Executive Director of Medical Services, with the presence of Dr. Turki Al-Wasidi, Chairman of Internal Medicine, and Mr. Zaid Alzubi, Acting Associate Executive Director of Nursing Services Department in addition to a number of department heads.
