Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz National Guard Hospital in Madinah has succeeded in registering a new achievement in addition to its record of several achievements at the various medical or operational levels by obtaining the updated version of ISO 9001-2015 International Standard for Quality Management Systems by Food Services Contracts Operations Department. Quality management standards are considered the main focus of the government and medical institutions which highlight the principles of leadership, risk management and quality of work in conformity with the strategic objectives to achieve the continuity of the administrative work quality and improvement.
Food Services Contracts Operations Department has received the certificate on Thursday 10th October 2019 from the organization "Swiss Cert", which is specialized in the international accreditations and a leading institution in the awarding of quality management systems certification, through its authorized representative in Saudi Arabia. Food Services Contracts Operations Department succeeded to surpass several stages of assessments and auditing processes in conformance with the international standards adopted in this field. Department including their Saudi specialized and qualified employees along with the advanced operational techniques has proven its worthy in obtaining the certification of ISO 9001-2015 management, control and full operation of the system of food services in Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz National Guard Hospital, Madinah.
The certificate was delivered during a ceremony held by Food Services Contracts Operations Department, in which Swiss Cert organization representative, Dr. Al-Sadiq Abdullah presented the ISO 9001-2015 accreditation certificate to Mr. Mansour Alaskar, Executive Director, Operations, PMBAH in the presence of Col. Engr. Bassam Al Hazmi, Deputy Executive Director, Operations, PMBAH and Mr. Nizar Asiri, Acting Manager, Food Services Contracts Operations Department, and a number of employees from FSCO Department. Al-Askar delivered a speech on this occasion in which he commended the efforts extended by Food Services Contracts Operations Department, which culminated in obtaining this international accreditation, which is recorded as a new achievement assuring the excellence of PMBAH medical and operational services in all areas of comprehensive health care provided to patients.
