Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH) - AlMadinah lunched on Thursday, 10 March, 2016 Hemodialysis Unit coinciding with the hospital celebration of World Kidney Day. This celebration was attende by Dr. Mansour Al Othman, Executive Director of operations, Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director, Medical Services, Dr. Tariq Khashoggi, the Deputy Executive Director for Medical Services and Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Deputy Executive Director of Operations, with many other directors from different departments. The celebration started with an introductory speech introduced by Zaid Alzoubi, Nurse Manager, in which he present a brief description about the bed capacity of the unit which contain 8 beds, 2 of them for isolation patients, in addition to the medical technologies and health services that managed by medical staff and will contribute in upgrading medical level of the patients and visitors of the hospital.
During an introductory tour in the unit, the visitors of the celebration visited some of the patents of the new unit who in return expressed their appreciation to the system of the hospital including the distinct integrated specialist medical services without having to visit another hospitals.
Moreover, Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director of Medical Services delivered a speech expressing his gratitude towards all departments who participated in achieving the goal that will help in the medical services presented by Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital to patients and visitors.
In addition, Dr. Mansour Al Othman, Executive Director of operations, delivered a speech expressing his pleasure regarding the new achievement, insuring Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital’ efforts to present comprehensive medical services. He pointed out that the recent achievements that includes lunching Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Infant Protection System are just the beginning towards uniqueness. Dr. Al Othman stressed that this improvements is the approach followed by all of the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs. He also expressed his appreciation towards all departments who participated in preparing this unit that recorded an additional achievement to (PMBAH) through brief time.
In a related development, Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital celebrated the World Kidney Day. The celebration includes several activities, starting with an educational booth prepared by Nursing department in the main lobby of the hospital which received many of the hospital visitors and employees. The activities concluded with another educational booth In AL Rashid Mega Mall prepared by Nursing department where they applied the educational services on 300 visitors from various ages and nationalities, in addition to brief explanation to the relation between initial examination for blood presser and blood sugar levels and the health of the Kidney. In addition, many educational brochures and gift presented to the visitors.
