In pursuit of excellence in all the specialized health fields, keeping up with the latest global developments in medicine, and adapting to the medical need of MNG-HA staff in particular and AlMadinah’s community in general, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital (PMBAH) inaugurated the new pediatrics ICU with its new bed capacity, an additional 6 beds fully equipped with the latest technology adhering to the highest international standards. This new ICU also contributed to the increase in the bed capacity of the adult ICU. Currently, PMBAH now provides intensive care services in an integrated style for all age groups (newborns, children and adults).
The inauguration was sponsored by Executive Director of Operations Dr. Mansour AlOthman, PMBAH with the participation of the Deputy Executive Director for Medical Services Prof. Tariq Khashoggi. During the ceremony, Dr. Osama Al-Jabali delivered a welcome speech in which he highlighted the department’s delight with this achievement, pointing out that the section is fully equipped to provide precise continuous healthcare for all critical cases.
On this occasion, Dr. Mansour AlOthman also delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude with the rapid development witnessed at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital, with the continuous support and effort all departments. Lastly, Dr. AlOthman concluded his speech by thanking all departments that have contributed in completing this new achievement in a record time. It is worth mentioning that the project design and implementation has been conducted by PMBAH’s Building Services & Project Task Force directed by Engr. Hamid Al Mokainzi. In addition, the Cardiac ICU project will be finalized in the coming months, to be one of the developmental projects at the hospital.
