King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh Organizes Quality Day at ICU
The Intensive Care Department at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, affiliated with the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), organized Quality Day at ICU in the presence of His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al Knawy, along with several MNGHA leaders.
The event aimed to promote a culture of quality and patient safety in intensive care units, while highlighting key initiatives and development projects designed to improve healthcare outcomes for critically ill patients.

These initiatives included training healthcare professionals on crisis response, implementing best practices for the safe insertion of intravenous catheters, and developing specialized programs for the care of critically ill pregnant women to further support maternal and neonatal safety.

The event also showcased the latest wireless monitoring technologies, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) programs, and the development of renal replacement therapy strategies.
