Vice President of the KSAU-HS Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs Professor Rashed Al Rashed and other officials from the University and the NGHA in the Western Region joined a ceremony to recognize the resident doctors in their 9th annual meeting in KAMC – Jeddah.
The ceremony was to honor the quality of provided health care and to highlight the resident physicians’ role as the foundation of any health institution.
The ceremony was opened by a narration from Holy Quran, after which various doctors spoke to the audience retailing the virtues of the physicians and the institute. The number of resident doctors in 2008-2009 reached more than 182. The success rate in several training programs was 100% in KAMC-J where 18 doctors passed the Saudi Board.
Furthermore, the Academic Affairs committed to improving the training programs and increasing their efficiency to achieve goals and objectives and to provide the best possible care for the patients.
The Vice President of the KSAU-HS Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs Professor Rashed Al Rashed honored the eighteen graduates, the doctors who graduated with honors and the best research. Also, certificates of appreciation were given to the best consultant and doctor from each department. Then, Professor Al Rashed was presented with a memorial plaque from the Academic Affairs.
