MNGHA represented by King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh celebrated renewal of HIMSS Infrastructure Adoption Model (INFRAM) and Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) – Stage 7 Accreditations
The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs continued to make key progress in its digital transformation journey in healthcare, by renewing the accreditation of two certificates: the Unified Electronic Medical Record Application Certificate - Level 7, and the Information Technology Infrastructure Maturity Model Accreditation Certificate - Level 7, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, provided by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Achieving both accreditations simultaneously embodies a delicate balance between the maturity of digital clinical applications and the readiness of the infrastructure, within an integrated digital model. This integration also contributes to enabling the effective use of data to support decision-making, the use of the modern emerging technologies in healthcare systems, improving the quality of health services, and enhancing the beneficiary experience, within an institutional approach that focuses on sustainability and operational efficiency.
This progress is part of a strategic path aimed at developing an integrated digital healthcare system characterized by flexibility and future readiness, aligning with global best practices in healthcare delivery and implementing best practices related to IT infrastructure, including the information network, wireless network and mobility, communications and collaboration, cybersecurity, and data center.
It is worth mentioning that MNGHA was the First organization in the achieved the quadruple in HIMSS stage 7 (EMRAM, O-EMRAM, AMAM, INFRAM). as highest maturity stages in HIMSS Accreditations
