King Abdullah Medical Research Award Website began receiving applicants nominations submitted by the organization, body or institution that the researcher works for, after HRH, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, inaugurated the King Abdullah Medical Research Award Website during the opening ceremony of the 7th Annual Medical Research Forum, which was held from the 13th till the15th of December 2016, in the Convention Centre at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for health Sciences.
The Objectives of this Award are to recognize and reward medical research excellence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to emphasize the government’s commitment to create an environment conducive to high quality research at a national competitive level, to enhance research centers performance in the delivery of research with direct impact on human health and on the country’s economy and to ensure that this Award is innovative in its scope and mechanisms and not simply a duplication of existing awards.
King Abdullah International Medical Research Center allocated the portal (http://kamra.kaimrc.med.sa) so that educational institutions such as universities and research centers get to register and create an account on the site in order to enable them to submit their candidates through the website.
Note that the nomination would be open until the 31st of July, 2017, and the winners will be announced during the Annual Medical Research Forum.
