The Department of Infection Prevention and Control conducted several awareness preventive lectures on infectious respiratory diseases around the MNG-HA educational and field units. Such awareness lectures immensely contribute in preventing infectious respiratory diseases and promote personal health care.
Health and Occupational Safety specialist, Capt. Mohammed Yahya Asiri pointed out that the lectures covered the importance of the prevention role for MNG-HA employees and staff members, the lectures reviewed the types of pointing out that the lectures included infectious respiratory diseases types and preventive measures such as the coughing and Sneezing etiquette and practice, hand hygiene and the importance of the Flu Shot.
It is worth mentioning that following the lectures, a large number of the attendees managed to get the Flu Shot provided by the Department of Infection Prevention and Control.
