Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, represented by the Symposia/Conferences Division organized the Respiratory Secretions Symposium, in collaboration with the Respiratory Services Department in Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital – Dammam in in the Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs.
Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj, the Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region pointed out that "this symposium comes after a continuous series of programs and activities through which we aim to raise the efficiency of workers in the medical field through the provision of the latest global scientific studies in various fields”.
Chairman of the Scientific Committee and Respiratory Therapist in Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital – Dammam, Abdulrahman Bagawi said that: "the symposium aims to inform and educate health practitioners of various specialties, on how to manage cases of chronic respiratory diseases, and accompanying symptoms such as respiratory secretions in the lungs and trachea as well as effective ways of reducing such secretions " .
Furthermore, he also added that the scientific program included a number of lectures and workshops that were optional with the participation of a number of speakers and more than 100 professionals Kingdome wide. It is worth mentioning that the symposium was accredited with 8 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
