Safety Committee in Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital - Dammam has organized an Awareness Safety Week through different activities, The Regional Executive Director of National Guard Health Affairs - the Eastern Region Dr. Ahmed Al Arfaj pointed out that "these events, which lasted for a whole week came as a complementary program for celebrating this occasion in the Eastern Region, which focuses on the safety of the patient, the employee and the organization as well as the daily safety and security principles , and targeted the staff and their families, the auditors and visitors in general".
Dr. Ahmed Al Arfaj said: “our duty is to apply the highest levels of security and safety systems at all levels, we have noticed the great attitude from all the organization’s departments, divisions and external sections.
Director of Quality Management Dr. Shaher Al-Qahtani said: “the events began by an exhibition in which multiple departments and sections in the hospital have participated, as well as private sector companies. The exhibition included signboards of safety in general and traffic in particular, in addition to brochures on safety to spread awareness among staff and visitors".
He finally added that: "the Organizing Committee planned to hold these events for a whole week, including hosting a group of students of National Guard’s schools, who were trained on CPR, as well as recreational programs and activities. In conclusion the Organizing Committee held a ceremony to honor the participants for their efforts in making this event a success.
