PMBAH Concluded Safety Awareness Week
PMBAH concluded its Safety Awareness Week activities that was held last week in which Mr. Mansour Al-Askar, Deputy Executive Director of Operations and the general supervisor of the Safety Awareness Week, honored the participating departments and staff for their highest contributions in the event. Furthermore, Mr. Al-Askar honored the winners in the Safety Awareness Week contests.
In regards to the Safety Awareness Week contests, Ms. Shurooq Al Sa’adi from Environmental Services Department won the first place award in the best poster contest, on second place was Ms. Jerslik Atenza from Out Patients Department, and Ms. Lizranzia Ietchak from the Nursing Hemodialysis Unit was on third place. Mr. Qadri Al Raihan from the Fire Department won the best speaker contest; And Nursing Services earned the title of the best educational venue in the Safety Awareness exhibition that showcased a number of safety principles and equipments.
It is worth mentioning that Safety Awareness Week included several different activities, it started by an educational exhibition about safety methods with the participation of a number of PMBAH departments. Furthermore, the event included many important educational lectures presented by a number of safety specialists from inside and outside PMBAH as well as covering its social role by organizing an educational visit to the Orphanage House where a team of safety specialists delivered an educational lecture about safety principles.
The safety week also included safety inspection rounds on PMBAH departments conducted by safety team members where PMBAH employee’s knowledge about safety policies were tested and measured.
The organizing committee presented a variety of entertaining, educational and social activities in order to achieve the maximum benefits in raising awareness amongst PMBAH staff about safety and its principles and guidelines.
