The National Guard Health Affairs launched the activities of an awareness campaign to protect children from neglect. The event is organized by the National Family Safety Program within the framework of international activities to protect children from abuse in collaboration with the Department of Health Education and the Department of Social Service in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah.
The campaign will run from 25 to 29 November 2013 and will target children younger than 18 years old and their parents.
The activities focus on educating people about the importance of child safety in regards to maintaining the safety of the child’s health and educating parents about child safety measures in the home and in the car.
The National Family Safety Program is an integrated system of awareness efforts, enhancing family safety and security and reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Islamic values and drive in preserving children’s’ rights.
