Under the auspices of H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of KSAU-HS, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Dr. Saadi Taher, Executive Director of Medical Services in the Central Region, launched the closing ceremony of the 9th Middle East Best of San Antonio Breast Cancer conference to discuss the latest updates of the 37th Annual San Antonio Conference for Breast Cancer, which was organized by NGHA in cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the San Antonio Breast Cancer Conference on Sunday, 11th of January 2015 at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences Convention Center, with the participation of specialized national and international speakers.

Division of Adult Medical Oncology, Department of Oncology at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC), pointed out that the participants discussed the latest updates submitted by the American Association for Cancer Research, the Cancer Treatment Center and the Research Center in Texas during the 37th International Conference for Breast Cancer.
urthermore, Dr. Abdulmajeed Al Abdulkareem, Vice President of Postgraduate Education, gave a speech in which he highlighted the importance of the breast cancer issue due to the incidence rates reported by the National Registry of Tumors, which state that approximately 15% of malignant tumors registered were breast cancer. Moreover, breast cancer represents at least a quarter of cancer cases among women in the world.
