The National Guard Health Affairs conducted recently an advanced training session on secretarial and office management skills.
Throughout three days, Dr. Micky Davis, a professional training specialist, presented three research papers to more than 102 trainees in sessions held in Al-Ahsa and Dammam, Eastwards of Saudi Arabia.
The session succeeded with flying colors as it lured the administrative assistants who liked its contents, said Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Sunaidi, Director of Training and Development Department, in the Eastern Region. “The goal is to develop staff’s performance which will reflect positively on the work,” he added.
Al Sunaidi said that the sessions highlighted developing personal skills, sharpening communication skills, training the staff to take responsibility of administrative work, upgrading manager performance, providing exercises to strengthen the memory, and presenting relevant technique to thoroughly develop the whole process of performance and self evaluation.
Along the same vein, the National Guard Health Affairs held another session at the King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa. The session which ran for three days provided on-the-job training for more than 90 persons discussing modern-day approaches on serving the clients.
Dr. Juan Luna, a trainer at Dallas Medical City, presented a series of well-thought-out ideas to trainees about how to have direct communication with clients to offer the best service in the most innovative ways.
At the end of both sessions, all trainees received certificates of attendance attested by the National Guard Health Affairs.
