King Abdulaziz Hospital -Al Ahsa (KAH), Ministry of National Guard – Health affairs conducted a training drill for bomb inside one of the waiting rooms at the Hospital on Wednesday, 18 January, 2017. The area has been evacuated and military police apply security standards. Fire Department represented by the Department Head, Mr. Ali Al Ali, The Safety Management Department represented by the Department Director, Mr. Jamal Al shaar and Mr. Saeed Al-Dossari the Associate Regional Director were attended in addition to all the concerned departments.
After that, one of the Explosives Units, Engineering Battalion at Ministry of National Guard answered the call from the hospital immediately and handle the situation properly, in which they Dismantle the bomb.
Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj, the Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region noted that “These training drills are conducted by Ministry of National Guard – Health affairs to raise the efficiency of the hospital employees which in return will reflect on the presented services”. He added: “We appreciate all the employees for their fast response which help to conduct this drill successfully”.
