
Under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs (MNG-HA) will host the 7th Patient Safety Forum which will be held from the 21st until the 24th of March 2017 at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences - Convention Center, with the participation of experts, specialists and health practitioners from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Denmark.
On this occasion, H.E. Chief Executive Officer of MNG-HA, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Dr. Bandar Al Knawy extended his appreciation to His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for honoring the activities of the 7th Patient Safety Forum which confirms his keenness to support and monitor the quality of medical care performance in the MNG-HA, where its medical cities and primary health care centers seek to apply patient safety concepts and raise awareness levels of international updates in this area as reflected in the health care improvement and achievement of patient satisfaction in regard to the services provided.
Moreover, H.E. extended his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his unlimited support to all government sectors in general, and to the health sector in particular.
In addition, the conference targets the leaders of the various health sectors, directors of Health Affairs in K.S.A, universities’ presidents, deans, faculty of health colleges, health practitioners as well as specialists in the field of quality and health management. In this regard, the lectures, discussions and workshops in the conference will discuss several themes such as technology, patient safety, enhancing procedures after surgeries, best practices in reducing complications as well as building capacity and leaderships in the field of patient safety in addition to reviewing the latest technologies, applications, best practices and leading experiences in this field at the local and international levels.
It is worth to mention that the 7th Patient Safety Forum is of great interest by health practitioners from different categories and sectors, as it has a significant presence at local and international levels, carries many international experiences.
