The department of social services in KAMC-Jed has organized the training course on the international social services day under the title "The Latest and Developments of Domestic Violence Cases Training Course" on 20 March 2019. It took place at The deanship building of King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health science and it was accredited with CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS). During the course, several topics in domestic violence had been discussed such as introducing the most important the regular procedures for reporting cases of violence and neglect, the role of social worker in the reporting the cases and follow-up, the role of doctors in writing reports and proving cases of abuse or negligence. The course also discussed the child protection from violence and victimization programs and support services for victims of violence. It also sheds light on the techniques of social and psychological treatment sessions for victims of violence and neglect and how to install "forensic interview", in addition to special learning sessions on protection management systems and definition of human rights.
