Social Services and Social Work Symposium
Under the auspices of HE Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the Chief Executive Officer, National Guard Health Affairs, the Department Of Social Services in King Abdulaziz Medical city - Riyadh will hold a symposium entitled "social services: weaving resilience and advocacy " on Sunday and Monday, 7th/8th of April 2013 at the Postgraduate Training Center in MC (for location, click here).
The symposium which will be held in occasion of World Social Work Day aims to:
highlight social services interests in the study and treatment of social problems in the medical field.
Show some models and recent trends of social services professional practice of in the medical field.
develop social workers’ skills to enable them in confronting future challenges of social services in the medical field.
The symposium program will include many scientific lectures and workshops hosted by distinguished academics with high expertise. It targets social workers and social work practitioners in the medical field.
This symposium is accredited with CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
