MNG-HA is pleased to organize the awareness campaign for Spine Health during Pregnancy. This campaign is mainly concerned on raising the awareness of the public about the structural changes that occurs during pregnancy, which may result in back pain especially in the third trimester and after delivery.
The campaign includes basic information about the incidence of back pain during pregnancy and the physiological changes of the spine, the red flags and when to seek medical help, how to prevent and relieve the pain, and the uses of epidural anesthesia and its complications.
This campaign is targeting women in child-bearing age, interns and medical students, rehabilitation specialists.
