Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs will host the "Spine Update Conference and Workshops" on Tuesday, 9 December 2014 in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), the Saudi Orthopedic Association (SOA) and the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery (SANS) with the participation of the most renowned specialists in the world and in Saudi Arabia.
The 3-day conference “Toward standardized spine surgery practice” which is held in KSAU-HS Convention Center targets Spine Surgeon, Orthopedic & Neurosurgeons, Residents, Rehabilitation personnel and Spine Nurses.
Furthermore, the conference aims to discuss the standard of practice in common spine pathology as well as updates in traumatic spine cord injury, degenerative lumbar disease, approaching Spine tumors and pediatrics deformity; in addition to a fresh cadavers workshop for complex spine procedures.
Moreover, the scientific sessions will explore various aspects of pathologies affecting the spine such as degenerative spine diseases, spine trauma and spinal cord injury in addition to spine tumors. Latest technologies including motion preservation and minimally invasive spine surgery will be addressed in full reviews and scientific debates throughout the conference.
It is worth mentioning that the conference will be accredited with CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
