
National Family Safety Program New Strategy Orientation Meeting National Family Safety Program held an Orientation meeting for its new strategy on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at Dr. Samir Ben Hareeb Large Auditorium - King AbdulAziz Medical City in Riyadh under the auspices of the President of the National Family Safety Program Her Royal Highness Princess Adla bint Abdullah bin AbdulAziz with the presence of HE. Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Executive Officer, NGHA and a number of officials in National Guard Health Affairs.
Dr. Maha Al Munef, Executive Director of the National Family Safety Program initiated the meeting with a speech covering the program, its goals and the challenges since its founded and its future plans. She added that the National Family Safety Program ha recently signed a contract with a global consulting firm to formulate the program strategy, its objectives and initiatives to meet the challenges that it might face. The strategy will be conducted around 3 phases in the first year, this will include the studying and the planning, and in the second year, supporting and applying the initiatives of the new strategies will take place.
Later on, Dr. Ahmed Taher - Consulting Team Head at Ernst & Young, gave a speech about the program’s future strategy in terms of construction and application while highlighting the assigned tasks of the company towards this strategy.
On the other hand, HE. Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Executive Officer, NGHA – KSAU-HS addressed the audience in a speech where he explained that support of the National Guard Health Affairs to the National Family Safety Program comes from the recognition of familial violence, which not only affects the family, but the whole community as well, so NGHA has continued its support by contributing to constructing a strategic plan that has been developed in collaboration with Ernst & Young consulting company. NGAH has selected distinctive cadres of the finest managerial competencies to prepare this plan to ensure reaching the aspirations of this pioneered program while stressing that this meeting represents an important transitional stage in the future.
Finally, a discussion session about the new strategy with the audience and officials of the Family Safety Program took place, and at the end of the ceremony, members of the Strategic Committee in NGHA were honored for their active role in preparing this strategic plan.
