Training & Development department in Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal Hospital -Dammam held a workshop under the title "Overcoming Barriers to Successful Management", with the presence of a large number of staff. The Regional Executive Director of National Guard Health Affairs - Eastern Region, Dr. Ahmed Al Arfaj noted that "this workshop comes After a series of programs and events that deal with development of employee performance, and improve their productivity.”
Furthermore, Dr. Al Arfaj said, "We found significant interaction from the staff, who we hope that this workshop will contribute in helping them to overcome the barriers that impede their success, the workshop helped in submitting many proposals and solutions to those obstacles", he added " the participants were trained for 12 hours and the workshop was attended by more of 26 employees both males and females, and we have seen their great enthusiasm and positive attitude in dealing with the workshop program.
On another note, Dr. Bridget Stip discussed several topics such as the drama triangle, overcoming obstacles, and steps to develop solutions to get out of a triangle drama, the workshop also offered many everyday work examples and distribute them to the groups and make each group represent the situation in a scenario to resolve the related problems and issues.
The participants, for two days, acted out real scenarios of administrative problems that obstruct the productivity, and summarized the positive results and the scientific and practical solutions. The workshop has discussed the principles of successful management as well, such as the complete knowledge, respect, efficiency, motivation, staying active, qualitative development and self-restraint.
