King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences represented by the Postgraduate Training Center in Riyadh offers the the Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) Course to educate its nursing staff.
The interactive course is held for two and a half days in conjunction with the Advanced Trauma Life Support Course (ATLS).
Participants will attend the the "ATLS" course then join the hands-on training workshops. After which candidates will be able to apply ATCN principles through simulated scenarios.
In addition to 13 CME hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and 19 hours CME hours from the Society of Trauma Nurses the winner will receive an instructor card and a certificate valid for four years. It should be noted that the course is under the auspices of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and the Society of Trauma Nurses.
