An awareness campaign under the slogan “Vaccine is Your Gate to Healthier Life" has been launched by the Infection Prevention and Control Program at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in collaboration with the College of Medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. The campaign aimed to increase awareness on the importance of immunization in fighting vaccine-preventable diseases, and to refute related-misconceptions among MNGHA population. The campaign included several educational booths targeted high-risk people, in addition to on-site vaccine needs assessment for adolescents and adults. The campaign activities were carried out by the public health nurses in Infection Prevention and control program, and volunteer students from the College of Medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
